Argentinian-born Messi, the World Player of the Year, attacked a loose ball in the 50th minute and then netted an amazing free kick during minute 37 to propel Team Barcelona to the win.
Scoring 300 goals is a big thing in the football world and this is something that Messi has been aspiring for since he started playing. In 2012, Messi upset Gerd Muller’s record of 85 goals for the year.

Lionel Messi started with Barca in the year 2004-05. He made goal number 1 for the Catalans’ first team when they played against Team Albacete in May of 2005.
