Google I/O 2013 Kicks Off Today at Moscone Center

The Google I/O 2013 kickoff event begins on Wednesday at 9 AM PT, and is expected to bring together thousands of developers and Google enthusiasts in Moscone Center, San Franciso. The three-day event will showcase latest web and mobile applications, introduction to cutting-edge innovations at Google including development sessions related to the highly talked about Google Glass, which made a huge buzz last year during its elaborate unveiling, as well anticipated keynotes and technical sessions about open web technologies like Android, Google Chrome, Google Plus, and more. Google Developer Groups (GDG) all over the world will simultaneously host Google I/O extended events, enabling developers to interact and watch live streams. Recorded videos will be available through the Google I/O 2013 website.

There are a lot of speculations and also rumors at what will Google reveal in this year’s conference – Google Bable, Jelly Bean upgrade, a Game Center that will rival that of iOS, or even Google TV.

With Google, always expect the unexpected, it is certain however, that Google developers have a lot to anticipate in this annual Google I/O event like hands-on interactive experience and Q and A sessions with application creators and innovators. Google also recently teased developers with stack of boxes, possibly as giveaways.

Stay tuned, Day News will be proving daily updates as well as photos captured during the event.
