Republican candidate and real-estate mogul Donald Trump had a not-so-ordinary interview with Alex Jones.
The controversial frontrunner joined conspiracy theorist Alex Jones via Skype, from Trump Tower in New York.
First, Trump and Jones talked about how the candidate has been “vindicated” about his declarations regarding “thousands and thousands” of Muslims that were in New Jersey “celebrating” the September 11, 2001 attacks.
“I knew it happened, and I held my line. People wanted me to apologize, and we can’t do that. People like you and me can’t do that so easily,” the candidate said.
Mr. Trump said he’s “the most militaristic person there is. If I win [the elections] I’m going to make our military so strong, so powerful, that nobody is going to mess with us.”… “We need government for protection”.
They discussed other topics: Hillary Clinton, the interest of China in rare-earth minerals from Afghanistan and the oil from Syria and Iraq, libertarianism, and how he will make America financially strong again if he wins the election, which he qualified as “the most important election in the modern era”.
Jones said to Trump that “[his] audience, 90% of them, they support you.”
“I just want to finish by saying that your reputation is amazing – I will not let you down –”, Trump told Jones in the interview.
“A year into office, you’ll be saying ‘wow I remember that interview, he said he was going to do it, and he did a great job’ – you’ll be very proud of our country,” Trump added.
At the end of the interview, Jones said: “Donald Trump I hope you can help un-cripple America”, in reference to Trump’s book “Crippled America”. And he ended by saying “you will be attacked for coming on, we know you know that”.
In his radio show, Alex Jones has accused the US government of being involved in the 9-11, and in the bomb attack in Oklahoma City. He’s also supported the idea that the Moon landings were fake.
